AlphaPlus® 1-Octadecene is a normal alpha olefin (C18), featuring highly accessible terminal double bonds, that is an ideal material for manufacturing numerous products. Applications include: maleic anhydride copolymers; intermediate for producing alpha olefin sulfonate (AOS) surfactants; alkyl aromatics; alkyl dimethyl amines (ADMA); lube oil additives; metalworking fluids; epoxides.
