Songnox® L224

Songnox® L224 is a secondary thioester antioxidant for lubricants. Songox L224 decomposes and neutralizes hydroperoxides that are formed by auto-oxidation. It can also be used as a synergist in combination with phenolic antioxidants. Songox L224 is used in mineral and synthetic lubricants for the transportation and industrial industries.
