Sea-Land Chemical Company Announces John Kivi as Senior Vice President of Commercial Excellence

Sea-Land Chemical Company is pleased to announce the promotion of John Kivi from Vice President of Strategic Market Development to Senior Vice President of Commercial Excellence, effective December 15, 2025.
In his new role, Kivi will serve as the strategic point person for Commercial Excellence, driving alignment across Sales, Operations, and Finance to enable faster decision-making and execution on cross-functional priorities.
As Senior Vice President of Commercial Excellence, Kivi will ensure consistent commercial practices across business units while preserving flexibility to meet unique market needs. He will also serve as a central point for aligning decision-making on customer-focused priorities.

Kivi brings over 30 years of experience in the chemical and plastics industry, with broad commercial expertise spanning marketing, sales, product management, and business development. His career includes leadership roles in global organizations and industry experience across consumer products, durable plastics, appliances, oil & gas, and chemical processing sectors.
Before joining Sea-Land Chemical Company in 2021, Kivi held senior positions at Rain Bird Corporation and The Dow Chemical Company, where he managed global product strategies and regional business operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Arts from Michigan State University and completed executive education at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
