Tom Scherr joined Sea-Land in 2013 and now serves as a Vice President of Corporate Accounts. Prior to his role at Sea-Land he worked in the coatings industry for 18 years at PPG. Tom has a strong technical and sales background in manufacturing pretreatment, he has excelled in his role and demonstrated his expertise in providing strategic solutions for his customers and suppliers.
 
Tom holds a BSBA in Finance with a concentration in Chemistry from John Carroll University and his Masters in Organic Chemistry from Miami University – OH. He is also a member of the Cleveland STLE chapter. Tom leverages his formal education along with his hands-on experience to ensure he provides his customers and suppliers with tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Tom is an avid golfer and enjoys playing golf with customers. He is also known to bring donuts to his customers.
