Salts of Versatic Acid 10 are also used in paint driers, PVC stabilizers, wood preservatives, metal extraction agents, and to improve the adhesion between rubber and the brass plating on steel belts in tires. Versatic Acid 10 has replaced naphthenic acid in many applications.

Tagat® O V is a liquid, non-ionic glycerol – mono/dioleate emulsifier. Tegin O V is used as an emulsifier in a wide range of applications such as metalworking fluids, concrete release agents and agrochemicals. For metalworking fluid applications, Tegin O V is primarily used as a co-emulsifier in combination with more hydrophilic emulsifiers, such as Tagat® V 20 and Tagat® TO V, for the formulation of environmentally friendly fluids based on vegetable and synthetic ester oils, as well as combinations of these oils with mineral oils.
